The Hellenic Society for Soils Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (HSSMGE) is the representative of the International Society for Soils Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (ISSMGE) as well as the representative of the International Society for Rock Mechanics (ISRM) in Greece. Colleagues becoming our members, according to Article 4 of the HSSMGE Statutes, become members of the International Society for Soils Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (ISSMGE) and, if the wish, they become members of the International Society for Rock Mechanics (ISRM) as well.
Registration
In order to become a member of HSSMGE, your studies and experience need to comply with Article No 4 of the HSSMGE Statutes.
To become a member please fill the membership application and the personal information logging form and send them along with a recent CV to our Secretary General (gbelokas@uniwa.gr). Your application will be examined in the Executive Committee meeting following the date of your application and you will be notified about the Committee’s decision.
Annual fees
The annual fees for HSSMGE and ISSMGE membership is 30€ and for ISRM membership as well an additional 15€. For the payment of your fees you are notified by the HSSMGE Treasurer with information on HSSMGE bank accounts.
